Vietnam is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is officially known as the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The country is bordered by China to the north, Laos to the northwest, Cambodia to the southwest, and the south China Sea.

Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam and the country's second largest city. It is situated in northern Vietnam on the western bank of the Red River. Hanoi is located at 1,760 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. From 1954 to 1976, it was the capital of North Vietnam. Its population in 2009 was estimated at 9.1 million.

ฮานอย เป็นเมืองหลวงและเมืองที่ใหญ่เป็นอันดับสองของประเทศเวียดนาม ตั้งอยู่ทางตอนเหนือของประเทศบนฝั่งขวาของแม่น้ำแดง ห่างจากนครโฮจิมินห์ ซึ่งเป็นเมืองที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของประเทศประมาณ 1,760 กิโลเมตร ในอดีตฮานอยเคยเป็นเมืองหลวงของเวียดนามเหนือ ระหว่าง พ.ศ.2497 ถึง พ.ศ.2519  ปัจจุบันมีประชากรอาศัยอยู่ในเมืองหลวงแห่งนี้ราว 9 ล้านคน (ข้อมูลปี 2549)

Brunei, officially the Nation of Brunie, is a sovereign state located on the north coast of the island of Borneo, in Southeast Asia. Apart from its coastline with the South China Sea, it is completely surrounded by the state of Sarawak, Malaysia.

Bandar Seri Begawan is the capital and largest city of Brunei. The city lies along the Brunei River nears its mouth on Brunei Bay, an inlet of the South China Sea on the northern coast of the island of Borneo. After suffering extensive damage during World War II, it was largely rebuilt and became the country's administrative and financial centre.

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a Southeast Asian city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsular. The country made up of 63 islands. It is separated from Malaysia by the Straits of Johor to its north and from Indonesia's Riau Islands by the Singapore Strait to its south.

Malaysia is a country of Southeast Asia. It consists of thirteen states and three federal territories. The country is composed of two regions separated by the South China Sea: Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia. 

Peninsular Malaysia, also called West Malaysia, is the part of the country that  lies on the Malay Peninsular. It shares a land border with Thailand in the north. To the south is the island of Singapore. Across the Strait of Malacca to the west lies the island of Sumatra.

East Malaysia, also known as Sabah and Sarawak or Malaysian Borneo, is the part of Malaysia located on the island of Borneo. It consists of the Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak, and the Federal Territories of Labuan. The two are separated by the South China Sea.

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia and the largest city in the country. It is located on the north-west coast of Java. As estimated in 2011, the city had a total population of 9,580,000. The capital city serves as the economic, cultural and political centre of the country.
